So, I got up and immediately started calling for mechanics to fix my vehicle… After an hour of searching, calling, getting refused… I stumbled upon J&R Towing… I took a quick shower, grabbed Curtis and we made an hour trip to Wareham…
#TheMillenniumFalcon gave me a huge scare, stalling out every time I put it in drive… But after warming her up for 15 minutes she started to putt along… It was another slow, teeth gritting journey but I eventually got there…
It was so refreshing to talk to someone who asked me for the whole entire story! The guy was so calm and wrote down everything I told him… He also requested a receipt from #LakevilleServiceStation so he could see the work they did and build from that… He assured me they would have it fixed soon and his guys can figure out any problem… I met two of the mechanics and they told me they are very familiar with ford and chevy engines…
Screw #NewYorCity with their crooked #mechanics… J&R Towing were honest, efficient and communicative… I hope they keep to their word but am confident they will… Unlike the crooked boss in #NYC, this gentleman kept eye contact with me and showed me he wanted to get down to the problem and get me back on the road…
My Mums picked us up and we headed home… I cooked some steaks on the #BBQGrill and they came out amazing… I marinated them in a #Lawry’sSteakSauce and poked at them with a fork for 20 minutes, tenderizing the meat… You could cut these steaks with a butter knife they were so tender… We also had some scalloped potatoes along with #VegetableShishKabobs…
After dinner we went to the neighbors house and had drinks on their beautiful patio that looked like an old Italian Trattoria…. It was beautiful… We ended the night with laughter and great stories from Curtis… I am so glad to have friends and family who seem to make horrible situations seem ineffective… I have some hard days ahead of me but at least I have people in my life who care and make these situations bearable… I may stop writing in the blog for a few days and will continue when I am back on the road… I will keep you updated… Anyone who knows me can guarantee I will be back on the road soon…. Because when I am on a mission, I will complete that mission regardless of what hurdles this cruel world wants to hurl at me… Goodnight…
