Back on the road folks… I got a very relieving call today… The expert mechanic came in and immediately said it was the distributor that was causing all the idle problems on #TheMillenniumFalcon! Actually, he said that the distributor was probably what lead to the engine blowing and was probably the problem all along… Here I have spent thousands of dollars, spent all of that time locating a new computer and it was something as simple as the distributor… I need to get a good mechanics book on this model and just do the work myself… You can’t trust anyone these days…
But there’s no turning back the clock now and it is what it is…. My #journey has changed, I dealt with it and now I will work on getting back on that #road as soon as possible… I would love to make my way back up to the #ColoradoMountains and work for another couple of months and then go do my trip from San Diego to #Alaska in August…
I am a new man folks! I have learned a ton and have figured out so many things in my life… This journey has been nothing short of amazing and this year is one of the best years I have ever had in my life!
The mechanic said my #BucketofBolts will be ready by Friday… So all I need to do is occupy myself until then… I know I have a lot of #blogging to do, that’s for sure…
Of course I will be relaxing after 6 weeks of crazy work and a pretty hectic schedule…
Here above, I took a picture of a #cow farm in #Kansas… Look at these poor #creatures just caged in waiting to be #slaughtered… The cows in Colorado definitely have a better life… All cows should be allowed to live like they do… Perhaps it’s just a milking farm but still… You can smell the cow shit as you pass… It’s overwhelming… A smell I am not used to being up in the mountains with the fresh air…
It was a very invigorating drive! I was excited about so many things… I was seeing a good, dear friend of mine… The Millennium Falcon was pretty much fixed and my new journey was beginning… The fact that I don’t know what my next step is was exhilarating… and also I was going to see one of my favorite people in the world after picking up #Millie… My little cousin Lissy…
Folks, I am the first to state that depressions suck and I get the worst ones sometimes… But it’s moments like these in life that make it all worth it… All I need to do is keep on living life like this until I find the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with… Then hopefully we can start a family together and start a new chapter in my already exciting life…
But for the time being, no expectations folks!!! I’m just going to travel, write, do what I love and hopefully figure out some more stuff about life and myself on the journey…
Here I come world!!! I’m ready to see what you have for me next!!! Bring it on!!!!
