I worked a double today considering I am going to have two days off in a row… It was slow but steady… Made really good money because they never really stopped coming in… There was always three tables in #TheNuggetCafe… It’s funny because the other #waiter Mike gets frustrated when it’s slow, so he takes off the days he thinks will be the slowest… But as wonderful as #karma works, every time he does this I end up busy and making a lot of money…
As I said before, I just step back and let them make all the decisions… they always hang themselves in almost every situation… The reason for this isn’t because the #universe is paying them back for their stupidity and insolence… It’s because when you only focus on money, you make stupid, irrational decisions… you also piss off a lot of your #co-workers, so you end up in a world of shit almost all of the time…
If you are one of these people, don’t be ashamed of it… The smartest in the #world are corrupted by money and power, so you’re not alone and it’s a very common flaw this day and age… Actually it has been a common flaw since the civilization of man… It’s breed deep down inside of us… But there is a simple, easy solution… Just make your decisions based off of the people and never let money be the only factor in making those decisions… You follow that simple rule and I guarantee your life will get much better… It’s a simple fix to an extremely complex #HumanFlaw… You won’t believe how your mind opens up when you don’t focus on money and your way of life becomes so much less stressful and serene…
I’ve seen #money ruin the best of people! People you would never imagine making such dumb decisions! How can you expect to become rich and not keep your focus on money, when your focus on money is so extreme when you’re poor? Of course your mind is going to tell you to hoard it and try to make more… There’s nothing wrong with making more but when you put it above your fellow man, that’s when it becomes detrimental…
The #RestaurantIndustry and these #mountains have only confirmed my self created #philosophy… It’s an #ideology that has become a huge part of my life and has improved it so much… When you always try to think of the person over any personal gain, it may be hard at times but you will never regret that decision… trust me… No matter how fucked I end up and I have been fucked folks, let me tell you… every night I go to bed knowing I’m not one of those greedy fuckers and that reward is more than anything money could ever give me… Goodnight…
