Folks… I am not ashamed to say that I went into #TheNuggetCafe ready to tell everyone about my adventure up #ParkConeMountain… I had to go in and work a double because John had decided he didn’t want to stay at #TaylorPark anymore… I’m not going to get into it but him and another worker got into a fight… The other worker, Mike, is a complete dickhead in my eyes and I don’t feel guilty saying it on this #blog… So, I was once again stuck doing doubles but I didn’t care at all… I was so energized by the hike up Park Cone, nothing could put me in the dumps today…
I went in and shared my experience with some of the workers… I even inspired one of the young men who washed dishes to tackle the feat… His name is Michael, not to get confused with Mike the dickhead who is a server, and he is one of my favorite people here at Taylor Park… I couldn’t wait for him to go hike Park Cone so we could compare stories…
It was a fantastic day at work… That one day off did wonders and we all know why…. Hell, all of Taylor Park knows why by now… Every time I went to a table, I would point out the window and show the customer what I had climbed… It was such a spiritual experience and changed my attitude so drastically, I had to tell everyone about it… I feel everyone should experience these mighty mountains at least once in life… You have no idea the power they yield and how deeply you will be affected inside…
I closed the evening with this beautiful picture as I called it a night… All these mountains do is give, give, give and I am so happy circumstances lead me here… I may have had to pay $15,000 of repairs on The Millennium Falcon but now every penny of that was worth it…
Thank you Colorado Dream Ranch for such an eye opening experience… It may have cost me a lot to get here but I am now a changed man…
