I didn’t have to work until 2pm today so I decided to take a walk with John up to the #TaylorParkRVPark… The place where I was initially supposed to be staying in #TheMillenniumFalcon… I was dreading this trip because I knew it would make me miss my #Falcon…
John’s vehicle had a leaking fuel line and one of the workers at the #RVPark was fixing it for him…
So John, who was trying to get out of here asap, was waiting for this fellow to finish fixing his his vehicle… Things had gone sour between John and a server named Mike, which escalated into John quitting… Now, John was basically hunkering out in our #cabin trying to avoid contact with anyone… He was a little too secretive for my liking, considering he wouldn’t let Chris know what was happening but he also had an excuse fearing any sort of retaliation… Which I understood…
I like John but honestly I couldn’t wait for him to leave… This whole ordeal had created quite the situation for me… I had to go into work and keep my mouth shut, trying to keep out of the middle of everything… I still had to work with dick head Mike everyday and Chris was not happy how John handled this whole situation…
Oh the drama folks!!! No matter how much you try to avoid it, it just always seems to rear it’s ugly head… Wherever there are people, drama seems to follow… Even in these remote locations…
I was quite impressed with the view from the RV Park… It is elevated above the Taylor Park stores and has this beautiful mountain scenery from every angle the eye can see… I had to get out of there quickly before I made a commitment to climb any of these monsters! Matchless was enough of a commitment for me…
We soon reached John’s broken down vehicle… the gas tank was dropped and it looked like it was close to done… I love the mechanic’s #RV! It is so awesome! All camo painted, as you can see, and he had this really friendly dog that seemed to fit into the whole anti-government scene…
The mechanic informed John that his vehicle would be done the next day or the day after that… We soon headed back to the cabin where I got ready for work…
Here’s a picture of Taylor Park and all of it’s #cabins, as we made our way down the hill from the #RVPark… Taylor Park was created by Bruce Kranor’s (the owner’s) father…. He built the cabins for #fishermen who would come up and fish the lakes on their vacation… Taylor Park gradually became a recreational place to drive your off road vehicles over the many years that followed…
People still come up here to #fish but the majority come up to try out their new #DirtBikes and #ATV’s…
Then when September comes around, all the #hunters come up for the season… The first two weeks is dedicated to #BowHunting and they even throw a week in there where the hunters can use their guns…
Thank god the #gun #season is only one week… I don’t know how they keep all of this safe with dirt bikes and ATV”s ripping around everywhere… I can’t see the noise helping the hunters’ efforts also…
I was soon back at work for another busy night… At the end of my night, I got this nice shot of #MatchlessMountain… I am still eager to tackle that mountain and stay up there for a night…
If you look carefully, you will see this #FlatPeak at the very top, the highest #peak in this area… That’s where I want to #camp for the night! Right at the top! Now, just to get two days off to accomplish such a feat… The only obstacle that is in the way of my self proclaimed destiny…
